If you like your lava white hot and erupting out of a hard dick instead of a volcano, you’ll have a blast at Island Studs (literally). But the site is a bit of a head-scratcher because in between the erections and cum shots the models are shown doing some decidedly un-erotic things, like household cleaning, picking fruit, painting, mowing the lawn, trimming bushes (plants, not crotch hair) and other dull, routine tasks. In many ways this is a throwback to the classic nudism videos from days past, before hard core sexual behavior could be shown on film. Some may find it boring while others may appreciate the voyeuristic aspect. It certainly is unlike anything you’ll see on most gay porn sites.

The premise of each video is simple. We see a hot island guy… maybe it’s a surfer, maybe a college student on vacation or more often than not, a handy-man who was hired to do some work around the directors house. The guy strips naked and poses (usually outdoors), gets a hard-on and jerks off, occasionally cleaning up in the shower. Sometime during all this we usually see the guy doing routine chores in the nude as described earlier. And almost all of the scenes include the model taking a piss. Personally I can take or leave pissing shots but if you’re into this (and many guys are), you’ll find it an extra added bonus at Island Studs.

Now if the description above doesn’t sound very exciting, don’t write off Island Studs just yet. The site is definitely worth a look because most of the models are extremely good looking and exclusive to the site. I’ve included a gallery of some of my favorite studs below, and of that group one young man in particular named Kawika really stood out. As for the other models, you might think a porn site set in Hawaii would feature the same basic types of men, such as surfers or native “island” types. The absence of man-on-man sex does not bother me but the quality of videos at Island Studs is a point of concern. So far they are not filming in high-definition, which is a genuine shame because most of their models are super-stunning and would look incredible in HD. The filming is also on the amateur side, often focusing too much on cocks and not enough on those gorgeous faces. But on the plus side the still photography is excellent and well worth saving to your hard drive. Another unusual thing is that you’d expect to see more scenes filmed at the beach in Hawaii but only a few take advantage of this beautiful location.

Island Studs is a little bit on the pricey side when it comes to gay porn, especially for a solo j/o site. But like any porn site, if you see some men that really turn you on then the price is probably worth it. They do offer a special 150 day membership for $99.95 that might be worth checking out.

So putting aside the lack of HD video, Island Studs is like a breath of fresh tropical air in a stuffy sea of porn.
